Andragale's Story

Life I have been married for 40 years. UPDATE: We are now official residents of St. Augustine, FL and finally will get to vote in a presidential election. After studying at Seton Hall University, I worked in NYC and then moved to San Francisco,as a production assistant for advertising agencies such as, Doyle Dane Bernbach NYC. During 70s oil crunch, I switched to American Airlines and was sent on temporary assignment in Puerto Rico. The rest is history. They asked me to stay first as an Instructor, then as a Passenger Service Manager, and finally as a Supervisor Airport Passenger Services. My husband was working for Eastern while studying law. He sort of retired and still does volunteer work at the US Court helps to clear old cases. Hopefully, he will take it easier in FL, although he may still continue to do some teaching for judicial ethics. We moved to Washington and then back again, as he was appointed to the Federal Court in PR. I am now retired as the Executive Director for the Overseas Press Club of Puerto Rico --fancy title that translates to gofor--and sometimes will substitute teach in the areas Of English, Social Studies,...Expand for more
and Puerto Rican History. I still dabble in PR and Communications. Best of all, I have two great sons - Marc graduated from Columbia NYC, and lived in Astoria worked as an IT Specialist. UPDATE - MARC graduated and is now doing his residency in Grand Rapids, MI. He met his wife in Medical school and Karen is al also completion her residency. Luckily, they were able to be accepted at the school of their choice as a couple. Justin graduated from GW in Washington and received a Master in Social Sciences from the Citadel. UPDATE - Justin is now a full time lawyer with a specialty in Environmental Law. Ironically, he is handling a case for Puerto Rico with a 2 law firm from St. Croix and Texas. He met his new wife Stephanie in Law School. She graduated and decided she prefers business. He still hopes to tighten laws and protect the environment and civil rights. UPDATE: MY GRANDSON IS NOW 7. MY GRANDDAUGHTER IS NOW 7 AND LIVES IN NJ WITH HER MOM.ALTHOUGH SHE IS ADOPTED BY HER NEW DAD, WE REMAIN CLOSE. SHE IS A SOCCER STAR AT 12. I wish this could have been a little more creative, but that's journalism - just the facts Mam.
